Overview

Marriage Mediation is different: it's built to provide a plan for restoration that lasts.

The Basics:

What is the difference between mediation and counseling?

Marriage Mediation focuses on beliefs and how our thoughts play a major role in the restoration or continued disfunction of our relationship with our spouse.  The battle is in the mind, which is good news because it is the one thing we can control.

Counseling is more process oriented and dives deeper into disorders, abuse, addictions etc.  We leave these processes to counseling and in mediation we focus on the tools- teaching couples how to do marriage God's way so that they can experience long lasting restoration and love.

What is the time commitment?

Unlike counseling that is spread over month of sessions, marriage mediation is a two day intensive- with much of the necessary breakthrough happening within the first 4 hours of day 1.

Is there follow-up?
